Choose a project folder or ZIP backup, and the app scans a separate copy on your device. Read the files it finds and save an original file or a plain-text copy for free. Pro lets you export selected files together in one ZIP.
Your original project stays untouched. Manuscript Rescue cannot recreate text that is missing from the files. It is an independent utility and is not affiliated with Literature & Latte.

No. Manuscript Rescue helps you find and save text that is still readable. It cannot recreate text that is missing from the files.
Does the app change my original project?+
No. The app creates a separate working copy in its private storage. Your original remains at the location you selected.

Read the files the app finds and save an original file or a plain-text copy for free. Pro lets you export selected files together in one ZIP.
Are working copies deleted after seven days?+
No. The app shows a reminder when a copy is more than seven days old. Working copies remain until you delete them in Settings → Local storage or uninstall the app.
