Privacy Policy for Imalecto: Extract Images
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Imalecto: Extract Images (“the App”) helps you extract and save images from DOCX files and Google Docs that you choose. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
Developer: Georgii Dolganov
Contact: dolganov.g@gmail.com
Documents and images
DOCX files are processed on your device. If you choose to import a Google Doc, the App connects to Google to read the selected document and download its images. The App does not edit the source document.
The App stores imported project names, extracted images, their locations in the document, and extraction warnings in its private storage on your device so you can reopen projects. New projects are temporary: the App removes them after 24 hours when it next runs, unless you choose to keep them. You can delete individual projects or all local projects in the App.
Deleting a project does not delete copies you have already exported to Files, Photos, or another app.
Google account access
Google sign-in is requested only when you start a Google Docs import. The App requests the drive.file permission to access files you select for use with the App. It uses Google data only to import the selected document and extract its images.
Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are held in memory during the import and are not saved with your projects. The system authentication browser may retain your Google sign-in session according to its settings. You can revoke the App’s access in your Google Account settings.
The developer does not use Google data for advertising, analytics, or training AI models, and does not sell it.
Photos, exports, and purchases
The App requests permission to add images to Photos only when you choose to save images there. You can decline and save files elsewhere.
Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. The App checks your purchase entitlement through StoreKit. The developer does not receive your payment card details.
When you export or share files, the destination you choose handles those copies under its own terms and privacy practices.
Analytics and data sharing
The current App does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not require a developer account. It has no developer-operated server for uploading your documents or images. Google processes requests needed for Google Docs import, and Apple processes App Store purchases.
Your choices
You can use a local DOCX without connecting a Google account, cancel Google authorization, decline Photos permission, and delete locally stored projects. For privacy questions or requests, email dolganov.g@gmail.com.
We may update this policy if the App changes. The “Last updated” date will show when this text was revised.
