Choose the Codex data folder
Open AI Limit Bar settings, choose the Codex data folder with the macOS folder picker, and grant read access. The app keeps a security-scoped bookmark so it can continue monitoring after restart.

Quota is not updating
Confirm that the selected folder contains the current Codex sessions directory and that the source is enabled. If files were moved, choose the folder again and refresh the app.
Notifications do not appear
Open macOS Settings, select Notifications, find AI Limit Bar, and allow notifications. Then confirm that quota alerts are enabled inside the app.
Remove local history
Disabling the source stops monitoring but does not delete stored history or preferences. Contact support if you need help locating and removing the app's local Application Support data.
