Vistaply Privacy Policy

1. Privacy summary

Vistaply is designed to process screenshots, webpage images, conversions, and ZIP archives on your device. The developer does not operate a server for receiving your screenshots, webpage content, files, browsing history, or usage analytics. Vistaply does not sell personal information, display advertising, or track you across apps or websites.

2. Information processed on your device

When you explicitly start an operation, Vistaply may process:

• the visible content of the active Safari tab;
• the address and title of the active webpage;
• image addresses, formats, dimensions, file sizes, and content fingerprints found on that page;
• screenshots, downloaded images, converted files, PDF files, ZIP archives, and CSV manifests you create;
• local gallery metadata, such as the source website, capture type, dimensions, format, filename, and creation date;
• your preferred language, selected output options, purchase entitlement state, and a security-scoped bookmark for a folder you select.

This information is used only to perform the feature you request, show your local gallery, remember your settings, and save files. It is stored in the app’s local container, the shared App Group container used by the app and its Safari extension, a folder you select, or your photo library when you request that destination.

3. Website access and network requests

The Safari extension requests access only to websites you authorize through Safari. It inspects or captures the active tab only after your action. Vistaply does not capture Safari tabs in the background.

When you choose to save images found on a webpage, Vistaply may download those images directly from the website or image host. That website or host receives ordinary network information, such as your IP address, the requested image URL, and standard connection metadata, under its own privacy policy. These requests are not routed through a Vistaply server. The native downloader uses an ephemeral network session and does not create a persistent Vistaply web cache.

4. Purchases

Subscriptions, lifetime purchases, price localization, payment confirmation, refunds, and purchase restoration are handled by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. Vistaply receives only the information required to determine whether Pro features are currently available. The developer does not receive or store your payment card details. Apple processes purchase information according to Apple’s privacy policy.

5. Information not collected by the developer

The current version of Vistaply does not include advertising, third-party analytics, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking SDKs. The developer does not collect:

• screenshots or files you create;
• browsing history or the contents of webpages you visit;
• names, email addresses, contacts, precise location, health information, or identifiers for advertising;
• payment card or bank information;
• diagnostic or usage analytics through a developer-operated service.

Apple may independently provide aggregated App Store sales or diagnostics under your Apple settings and Apple’s policies. This is not a Vistaply-operated collection service.

6. Sharing

The developer does not sell or share your files or personal information with advertisers or data brokers. Information is disclosed only when you direct the app to save or share a file, when a direct request must be made to the website hosting an image, when Apple processes an App Store transaction, or when disclosure is required by applicable law.

7. Retention and deletion

Files and gallery metadata remain on your device until you delete them, uninstall the app, or remove the relevant app data. Copies saved to a folder or photo library remain there until you delete them from that location. Removing an item from the Vistaply gallery may not remove a separate copy previously exported to another folder or the photo library.

You can revoke website access in Safari’s extension settings, revoke photo access in system privacy settings, choose a different save folder, delete captures from the gallery, and uninstall Vistaply. Because the developer does not maintain user accounts or a server-side database of your captures, there is normally no server-side Vistaply data to access or delete.

8. Security

Vistaply relies on Apple platform protections, including the application sandbox, App Groups, user-selected folder permissions, and system purchase verification. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Children

Vistaply is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Vistaply’s features or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a new “Last updated” date. If a future version introduces developer-operated data collection, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that collection begins where required.
